Record Sales and a Double Raise on the Year
Eton's GlobeNewswire release put third-quarter product sales at $57.9 million, up 158% from $22.5 million a year earlier, and said the company surpassed its $200 million annualized revenue run-rate goal five quarters ahead of schedule. GAAP diluted EPS was $1.06, helped by a one-time income-tax benefit from releasing a deferred-tax valuation allowance. Non-GAAP diluted EPS was $0.50. Adjusted EBITDA was $28.5 million, or 49% of revenue, versus $2.9 million, or 13% of revenue, a year earlier. Cash ended the quarter at $55.6 million.
Full-year 2026 revenue guidance moved to more than $175 million from more than $145 million, and Adjusted EBITDA margin guidance moved to more than 40% from more than 35%. CEO Sean Brynjelsen said in the release that growth stayed strong across the portfolio, with record active patient counts on key products including HEMANGEOL, INCRELEX, ALKINDI SPRINKLE, KHINDIVI, GALZIN, and DESMODA, and that recent licensing for LIBERVANT expands the company into neurology.
Fifty Cents Non-GAAP Against a Thirty-One Cent Bar
Investing.com put Street consensus near $0.31 of EPS and about $42.0 million of revenue, so non-GAAP EPS of $0.50 beat by about $0.19 and revenue of $57.9 million cleared by a wide margin. MarketBeat listed the same report window. The GAAP $1.06 diluted EPS figure includes the deferred-tax valuation-allowance release; the company removed that one-time tax benefit when presenting non-GAAP net income of $16.5 million, or $0.50 per diluted share. Traders reading the print need that split: the operating beat is the non-GAAP and Adjusted EBITDA story, while the GAAP line is inflated by the tax item.
Pipeline and commercial updates in the release included FDA acceptance of a KHINDIVI label-expansion supplement with a May 28, 2027 PDUFA date, the ASN-001 infantile-hemangioma license with an NDA targeted in 2027, LIBERVANT licensing with an anticipated April 2027 launch if approved, and the U.S. launch of IMPAVIDO in September.
Twenty-Three Percent After Hours Past an Eighteen-Percent Monthly Band
OptionSlam tracked a roughly 18.53% implied move on the November 20 monthly straddle into the report, with the pre-earnings straddle marked near $9.40 against a $50.72 reference. Stocknear showed the same ±$9.40, or 18.5%, November 20 expected move, with a range near $41.32 to $60.12 centered on that $50.72 close. Measured from Thursday's $47.15 cash close, an 18.5% band puts the upper break-even near $55.90. An after-hours print near $58 is about 23% above the cash close and sits past that monthly upper break-even; the extended-hours high near $60.52 lands near Stocknear's upper range edge. A Friday premarket print near $57 would still clear the break-even measured from Thursday's close. Delayed Cboe quotes are a reference for Friday's open rather than fills: spreads can widen after a double-digit gap, after-hours stock prints can fade or extend, and equity options do not trade until 9:30 AM ET.
Rare-Disease Momentum That Cleared the Prepaid Range
When a name gaps about 23% after hours after a record quarter and a double guidance raise, and the monthly chain had collected roughly 18.5% of event premium, short straddles and iron condors that sold that November 20 move face a stock already past the upper break-even into the open. Long calls that needed a clean break of the monthly band are paid if the stock holds above that break-even when listed options start trading. Put debit spreads that needed a miss face a tape that bought both the operating beat and the raise. The GAAP EPS line is not the clean read for event traders: the non-GAAP $0.50 and the Adjusted EBITDA margin are the figures that match the Street's operating bar.
